Benjamin Coriat is a French economist specialising in industrial economics, innovation and intellectual property. He has a degree in philosophy and a doctorate in economics. He is a professor emeritus at the University of Paris-Nord and a member of the Economistes Atterrés. He is also the author of numerous publications on the theme of the commons, including &#8220;Le retour des communs: la crise de l&#8217;idéologie propriétaire&#8221; (The return of the commons: the crisis of proprietary ideology), &#8220;Propriété et communs: idées reçues et propositions&#8221; (Property and the commons: received ideas and proposals) and, more recently, &#8220;La pandémie, l&#8217;Anthropocène et le bien commun&#8221; (The pandemic, the Anthropocene and the common good).

The commons call for the collective management of shared resources. But more than that, the commons propose another way of inhabiting the world, emphasising the way in which we are all interconnected and thus inviting us to re-explore the notion of the common good. As territories of experimentation, what can the commons do for culture today? Can culture be crossed by their logic? If so, to satisfy what hopes? By overcoming what challenges? Let&#8217;s look together at the answers we can give to these questions.

Colas Fiszman is the founder of Tyrell a multidisciplinary design studio that recently opened its doors in Brussels. 
Tyrell creates media art installation and audio visual performance for public space, corporate clients and large events. 
With a background in Television, Visual Effects and Graphic Design his work aims to use technology and information as a fabric to create art pieces. 
He has been working with touchdesigner for more than ten years. 
He is the cofounder with François Zajeǵa of Creative Meetup an event for creatives and developers practicing creative coding that append every two months.

TouchDesigner is a node based visual programming language for real time interactive multimedia content, developed by the Toronto-based company Derivative. It&#8217;s been used by artists, programmers, creative coders, software designers, and performers to create performances, installations, and fixed media works. 
For this workshop we will look at the basics of how to use the software and its numerous potentials for starting your own audiovisual creations.

A sensorial demonstration and hands-on experimentation of material design through biorecipes and manufacturing processes that promote sustainability, circularity, biodegradability and zero waste using food waste as a resource for regenerative design.
