Rethinking culture as a common good: challenges and hopes?

Benjamin Coriat is a French economist specialising in industrial economics, innovation and intellectual property. He has a degree in philosophy and a doctorate in economics. He is a professor emeritus at the University of Paris-Nord and a member of the Economistes Atterrés. He is also the author of numerous publications on the theme of the commons, including “Le retour des communs: la crise de l’idéologie propriétaire” (The return of the commons: the crisis of proprietary ideology), “Propriété et communs: idées reçues et propositions” (Property and the commons: received ideas and proposals) and, more recently, “La pandémie, l’Anthropocène et le bien commun” (The pandemic, the Anthropocene and the common good).
